Each region has its own indigenous herbs and spices. Mextizo is an authentic Veracruz inspired menu. Veracruz is a state in the Gulf region of Mexico. Because of it’s proximity to the Caribbean, it’s food has an Afro-Cuban and Spanish influence.
Though many dishes throughout Mexico are prepared in the same way, the indigenous herbs and spices are what differentiates them. Here at Mextizo, we make everything from scratch in the most authentic way possible. We hope that you can appreciate the Veracruz experience.
