Knockouts Haircuts for Men started in Addison, TX in 2003 by Tom and Karin Friday. The foundation of the company concentrated on creating a place and atmosphere where any customer would feel comfortable being well groomed and pampered. Starting with only 7 employees, they focused on building a unique hair cutting and grooming experience. One of the the original employees, Vicki Vu-Jurgens, still works for Knockouts. The winning concept came alive at the Addison location and opened the door for franchisee opportunities worldwide.
Knockouts sold the first store in 2004, to our current franchisee Jack Boyd. Christen Ramirez managed that salon for the first two years. For the past decade, she has been with the Knockouts Corporate office and has advanced to Vice President of Operations. Vikki is now the manager of the Addison and Plano store locations.
