Sláinte exists to bring the hospitality, culture, and cuisine of Ireland to Oakland, California. Jackie Gallanagh was born and raised in Buncrana, County Donegal, Ireland. She created the pub’s menu using her family recipes and then expanded it with other amazing dishes that use both imported & locally-sourced ingredients. Our authentic Irish food is delicious, our Irish whiskey options are extensive, and the pints are poured properly every time. We’re not ONLY a pub, we’re also an Irish Whiskey Destination. We carry over 175 different varieties of Irish whiskey, so settle in and stay awhile or come to one of our monthly Tuesday night tastings.
We have live Irish music seisúns from the Buncrana Band every 1st and 3rd Thursday at 7PM and every Sunday at 4PM. Shipwrecked Shanty delivers live pirate songs and sea shanties on the 1st Saturday of every month too.
